What People's Say About Place

I ordered the grilled Mediterranean with eggplant, delicious. Sandwich came with fries and the best homemade ranch I've had in a very long time! My daughter ordered a grilled Ruben and she liked the sauerkraut and pastrami on it. We did order a hot chocolate and I think it's made from powder so I would probably skip that next time. I want to come back and try their Benedict's for breakfast.

Today was my first time coming to Life's Kitchen. I grabbed a BLT with fries as a carryout. The food was so delicious. The bacon was cooked to perfection! I adore their way of serving 2nd chances. They teach teens how to be successful in a commercial kitchen as well as the life skills to be an adult. They offer classes to help the employees who need to get their GED. They also donate to Interfaith Sancutary. They cater. They can host your party in a private banquet room. They have a food truck. Very happy they are here doing such great things! I will definitely be back!!

Life’s kitchen catering was awesome. Was able to give me exactly what I wanted!!! Portions were more than big enough to support swimmers and very reasonable priced. Food was wonderfully tasty and well presented. Was flexible on timing to accommodate changing swim meet times. Would definitely use again.

The food was great. The French toast was nice and lofty and delicious. The bacon was a perfect temperature with just the right amount of crispiness. The overall bang for the buck was amazing. Very reasonable prices.

My boys and I went here this morning and had a great breakfast! Nicki was our waitress and she was so kind, cheerful (seriously a ball of sunshine!) and amazing with my boys! The food was delicious, minus by Eggs Benedict being a little on the cooler side, but it also had fresh tomato and avocado, so I’m assuming they were the culprits of it not being hot. I added ham to my Cali(?) Benedict and it was a big ole slab! I was impressed! My eggs were cooked to PERFECTION, which I can’t say about most places cooking poached eggs. Their sausage patty’s were incredible as well! Seriously amazing food for a dang good price! We’ll definitely be back here again!

Update: after a dozen or so breakfasts here we've come to one more conclusion: if you order biscuits and gravy AFTER 10am they will be hard. Obviously sitting around after the early morning fluffy fresh batch get taken out. So get there early for amazing buttery big fluffy biscuits. Or don't. Did you Google "Boise best biscuits and gravy"? Well here you go, Life' Kitchen is your place. Super buttery biscuits. If that's not your thing then I'm sure they can make them with not so much butter. The gravy is OMG good with nice chunks of meat. Nothing is dry, nothing is too thick, nothing is going to give you a mouthful of mystery meat grizzle. The quantity and quality is among the best I've eaten in my travels across the US. I have yet to find a better biscuit and gravy in Boise. Heads-up: not opened weekends so that "best biscuits and gravy in Boise" craving will have to be handled Monday through Friday. I know, I know: the struggle is real.

We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast today! Very clean restaurant with great service from our server Laurence. We ordered two dishes, the California omelet, which was excellent, and a signature dish from Chef Lauren. The signature dish was Lauren's Baked Apple Pancake Cannoli - wow! We've never had anything like it! Two wonderful large cannoli that were perfectly flavored and appropriate for the cool day in early fall. I hope they keep it on the menu! Life's kitchen is now my favorite, goto restaurant for breakfast and lunch!

Excellent food and service. I think we should all support the kitchen. They provide young people entering the food and service industries, teaching and experience in a live environment.
